So, I started a new med on May 30th. Mirapex. You triate up on the dose.
First week went well. First day felt "weird". Like I was drunk, speech slurred, really tired, nausea. All got better but the tiredness. Unitl about day 6 then I had a surge of energy.
Today I increased my dose. Again I feel "weird"...drunk like. Dizziness, nausea, somnolence, asthenia (feeling of weekness w/out acutal loss of strength)and constipation (that actually started a few days ago. BUT I definately feel less stiff. My mobility is much better...if only I had the energy to move! :o)
So, we'll see how this goes. It takes 3 weeks to get to the full dose. Hopefully with each increase I'll adjust accordingly.

- I am 41 years old. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. We have a son who was born in April 1996. In December 2004, I was hospitalized for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. In December 2009, I was laid off from my job.
