My husband is in Vancouver this week for work, so I am a single parent. I was back at work on Monday and my son went back to school today. I realize just how much I depend on my husband to keep our lives in order. I am just barely keeping it together. UGH.
I still want to blog about our various trips during the vacation but I haven't had a free moment. It was a good vacation. Relaxing for the most part and fun. Unfortunately, my body decided to take nose dive so it made walking really hard. I finally figured out that I was fighting a virus about two or three days into it. I started popping airbourne & extra vit C. It kept me from getting really sick but it didn't help the PD from reaking havoc. It really is amazing how connected everything is. My PD symptoms get worse when I am fighting an illness. It's like my own little warning system. About three or four days b4 I come down with something I get really stiff and my tremors go nutzoid! It's only happened a few times so I still haven't clued into when it first starts.
Anyway, I'm rambling b/c I am exhausted. I'm off to do some laundry and try and get the dishes that have been sitting in the sink for two days done! I have such respect for single parents....
Toodles!

About Me
- TheatreChick93
- Massachusetts, United States
- I am 41 years old. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. We have a son who was born in April 1996. We live in Central Massachusetts with our dog Maggie (a black lab we adopted from the animal rescue league) and our cat Sam (a stray that adopted us) I graduated from college with a BFA in Theatre in 1993 (hence the name) and for a few years pursued a career as an actress. Then life took over and I got married, had a baby and decided to get a "real" job. In November 2004, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's disease. In December 2004, I was hospitalized for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. In December 2009, I was laid off from my job. In June 2010, my son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 14. Stick around to see what happens next!
