OK...week 4 not going so hot.
I am so extremely nausous!! I can't eat. I guess it's one way to lose weight. I also have major "brain fog". Pd symptoms are so/so...but I had a very LONG weekend.
We drove to CT on Friday night getting there about 10:30pm. Stayed up chatting with my brother until about 12 then went to bed. Drove to NJ on Sat for a family party. Saw family I hadn't seen in 3-4 years. It was so amazingly wonderful. I miss them all so much. I miss seeing them like I did when I was growing up. My cousins were like my brothers & sisters. It makes me sad that B doesn't get to experience that.
So, we were there until about 7:30pm then drove back to CT which took us 3 hours!! Stupid traffic.
We ordered pizza when we got to my moms b/c we were all starving. Went to bed at about 1am. Got up Sun and drove back to MA. Thank God that drive wasn't bad traffic wise. However, B got sick on the drive home. He had a 24 hour stomach bug. He went to camp today because it was the first day and I didn't want him to miss it. Does that make me a bad mom??
Anyway, it was a long but good weekend.
The only sad part is I didn't go to see my BFF in PA. P just wasn't up for the 5 1/2 drive home on Sunday. He needed to mow the lawn and tend to the pool etc.. I can't blame him but it still made me sad. I promise ML that we'll get down there one of these days. I miss you...hope you are ok.
Well, back to work for me. Later I'll write more about my brother & his kids...what a story that is...
Toodles.

- I am 41 years old. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. We have a son who was born in April 1996. We live in Central Massachusetts with our dog Maggie (a black lab we adopted from the animal rescue league) and our cat Sam (a stray that adopted us) I graduated from college with a BFA in Theatre in 1993 (hence the name) and for a few years pursued a career as an actress. Then life took over and I got married, had a baby and decided to get a "real" job. In November 2004, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's disease. In December 2004, I was hospitalized for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. In December 2009, I was laid off from my job. In June 2010, my son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 14. Stick around to see what happens next!
