So,to catch up, week 3 went ok. Little more nausea and tiredness but I seemed to adjust by Monday. PD wise, I felt fantastic! So much energy and no stiffness. I am convinced I do NOT have placebo. I think I have meds in the morning dose & evening dose.
Started week 4 this past Wed. This was the start of the highest dose (if I don't have placebo). OMG...I am SOOO nauseaus! And so tired...I feel like I am drunk or high or something... I had my visit from Aunt Flo last Sat but it was a very odd visit. Only bled one day then spotted the rest. So, when the nausea got to be so bad on Thurs I actually stopped to get a HPT, just in case. It was negative. I am walking around with saltines & ginger ale. I definitely have the drug in the AM & PM b/c by 2pm I feel fine and stay fine until I take the PM dose at around 7pm. I am so hoping I adjust to this like I did all the other weeks. Yikes!
PD symptoms though continue to be awesome! Except for what seems to be an increase in my tremor when the meds are at their highest. But, I can deal.
I see the Dr. on June 29th. Yeah!
Toodles.

- I am 41 years old. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. We have a son who was born in April 1996. We live in Central Massachusetts with our dog Maggie (a black lab we adopted from the animal rescue league) and our cat Sam (a stray that adopted us) I graduated from college with a BFA in Theatre in 1993 (hence the name) and for a few years pursued a career as an actress. Then life took over and I got married, had a baby and decided to get a "real" job. In November 2004, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's disease. In December 2004, I was hospitalized for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. In December 2009, I was laid off from my job. In June 2010, my son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 14. Stick around to see what happens next!
