I am 41 years old. I have been married to my husband for 15 years. We have a son who was born in April 1996. We live in Central Massachusetts with our dog Maggie (a black lab we adopted from the animal rescue league) and our cat Sam (a stray that adopted us) I graduated from college with a BFA in Theatre in 1993 (hence the name) and for a few years pursued a career as an actress. Then life took over and I got married, had a baby and decided to get a "real" job. In November 2004, I was diagnosed with Young Onset Parkinson's disease. In December 2004, I was hospitalized for surgery to remove an ectopic pregnancy. In December 2009, I was laid off from my job. In June 2010, my son was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at the age of 14. Stick around to see what happens next!

Crazy Crazy World

Ok, so I don't know if it's the PMS or what but I am totally not happy with this whole liquid & gel ban on the airlines.

I just think we've gone a bit overboard. I can understand the need for it yesterday but I have a feeling that this is something that is going to be sticking around.

"Until they handcuff us all nude to our seats and dart us with tranquilizers, there will always be the possibility that a passenger will do something naughty on a plane"


I know when I fly I NEED my water bottle, my contact solution so I can take out my contacts and put them back in towords the end of the flight, and my lotion so that my face & hands don't complete turn to dust. I hate flying as a rule and these little comfort items help me get through.

It's just so frustrating. Is this really going to stop a terroist? I dont' think so. It just continues to eat away at our freedoms and how we live our lives.

It just plain sucks.
